DIY Choker Necklace

Hey hey hey guys! I’m back and just wanted to assure you that I will be posting more regularly – I miss blogging! This quick post will be about how I did  few different version of this DIY choker you see me wearing inthe picture above.

Materials Needed:

Ribbon

2 Ribbon crimps

About 6 inches of chain

Pearl bead

Head pin

3 Small jump rings

Lobster claw clasp

Craft pliers

Directions:

  1. Measure out the ribbon around your neck, and cut your ribbon about 2 inches shorter than your neck.

2.  Place the end of the ribbon in the ribbon crimp and clamp it down with the pliers

SnapShot(67)3. Attach the lobster clasp to one end of the ribbon crimp and secure it with the pliersSnapShot(69)4. Place your bead on the head pin and cut off the excess, then  use the pliers to shape the head pin into a loop.

5. Attach the bead to the chain with a jump ring.SnapShot(68)6. Attach the other end of the chain to the other end of the ribbon crimp and use the pliers and the last jumpring to secure it.
